Diva Mariah and America's Got Talent host Nick are reportedly heading for a divorce after separating back in May.
Rumours that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's six year marriage is on the rocks have been rumbling away for months, but now the pair's divorce is said to be a 'done deal'.
The couple, who have two children together, are reportedly living apart after separating back in May and now lawyers have been called in.
According to TMZ, the lawyers have been negotiating a property settlement and custody agreement for months.
So where did it all go wrong? A source told the website that Nick's appearance on Big Boy's radio show in March where he named five celebrities he'd slept with, including Kim Kardashian, which Maria was said to be furious about, was when cracks started to emerge.
Things were then made worse when Nick, 33, appeared on Howard Stern and revealed more intimate details about their sex life and marriage.
While the America's Got Talent host is upset with his wife for questioning his work ethic, claims TMZ.
This comes after reports emerged that the 45-year-old singer hired a security guard to follow Nick around to keep him away from other ladies when he was hosting pool parties in Las Vegas earlier this year.
The source said: "The security guard wasn’t there to keep the girls away from him. It was to keep him away from the girls.”
The pair married in 2008 and in 2010 she gave birth to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe.
Last month it was reported Mariah and Nick have sold their Bel Air mansion and were heading for New York City.
The couple bought the seven bedroom, nine bathroom property for $6.975 million in 2009, and sold it for a cool $10 million.
Nick has laughed off rumours that their marriage is in trouble. He said: "You kind of have to ignore it because every week it's something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you.
"There's no merit or truth to it. It's kind of humorous, really. It couldn't be further off from the truth."
