One of the world's most powerful couples is going to get their very own movie: Barack and Michelle Obama.
Reported by EW, the movie will focus on the less publicised side of the US president and first lady. Rather than following their path to the white house or the drama of running a country, Southside With You will centre on the couple's first date, which took place in Chicago's South Side (hence the film's name).
Here's the basic plot, which serves as further evidence that Michelle and Barack are ultra adorable. One day, a young Barack Obama decides to ask out his boss at a Chicago law firm. That boss is, obviously, Michelle. She isn't sure at first, but eventually agrees. They then go on a very romantic date, visiting Chicago's Art Institute, watching Do The Right Thing, and generally galavanting around the area.
While the role of Barack is yet to be cast, Michelle will be played Tika Sumpter, who, if you're having some trouble putting a face to a name, is this super stunning actress. You might recognise her from Gossip Girl, in which she dated Chuck for a few episodes.
