Former TOWIE star Maria Fowler left with bloody injuries after 'being attacked during night out in Derby'

Maria Fowler has been injured after allegedly suffering an attack during a night out in Derby in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The former TOWIE beauty was punched in the face and left with a bloody nose and cuts all over her body during the incident, which is now being investigated by police.

She looks distraught in photos taken in the aftermath of the event, which show her with blood running down her chin and her legs.

But the 28-year-old star posted about her ordeal on Twitter, writing: 'I've felt better.'

Her fans were quick to come to her defence, telling her they hoped recovered soon and slamming those responsible for her attack.
