Pop star Beyoncé Knowles and her rapper husband Jay Z are reported to be staying in separate hotels as they struggle to keep their marriage going through their lucrative tour.

Lawyers are understood to have joined the couple on their sell-out On the Run Tour, which is due to bring them a paycheck of around $100 million (£74 million), amid fears that it may have to be cancelled because husband and wife are at loggerheads.

At the end of last week, the couple, who have a two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, are said to have met with their respective lawyers to thrash out a statement addressing the whispers, but could not agree what it would say.

They have been working hard to dispel the rumours by posting loved up pictures of her family time, especially with her little girl.

Her husband has remained quiet about the whole incident apart from the joint statement that was released in May on behalf of Solange, Jay Z and Beyonce, in which it said that they had “moved forward as a united family”.

Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z will be heading to Paris and performing their final dates of their joint On The Run tour, even though “crisis meetings” have been held over the split rumours that have been hounding the couple.

The joint tour, which will reportedly earn the power couple a whopping $120 million, will then head over to San Francisco’s At&T Park for their final US tour date.

Ever since that elevator footage of Jay Z getting beat down by Beyonce’s little sister Solange Knowles emerged, rumours have been rife that the couple are on the verge of a split.

Fans can breathe a small sigh of relief as it was confirmed that the couple will be going ahead with their dates in France on September 12 and 13, which will be filmed for an HBO special and then air on September 20.
