Sarah Jessica Parker shows off her new shoe collection in Harper's Bazaar Arabi

Sarah Jessica Parker may have claimed in her latest interview with Harper's Bazaar Arabia that she's nothing like her Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw, but having seen these snaps of the star showing off her new shoe collection, we'd beg to differ.

"I'm not an expert on women, on sex, on dating, on romance. I just played one", SJP explained to the magazine.

"I'm not interrogative that way; it's not the way I talk to my friends. I have friendships that are intimate and hopefully I have a good ear for them. But I don't know what general issues are for women."
But when it comes to fashion, SJP's love of shoes - and talent for picking really, really nice ones - is just the same as Carrie's, as her new shoe collection shows.

The line, designed with the help of the CEO of Manolo Blahnik, (you know, the designer of *those* blue shoes from SATC), consists of both shoes and bags, including a T-bar sandal named Carrie.
"There's decades and decades and decades of incredible imagery that you probably have in your head that's meaningful to you," Parker explained. "It just so happens that George and I shared the same period of interest.

"I wanted to go back in time to the simple shoe, which is really hard to do well. That was really our point of inspiration."
